Mission
Power the Pedal teaches all ages to learn to ride as well as to commute to desired destinations like work, school, gym or a friends in a safe way on a bicycle.
Experience
Cara De Jong is a mom of three and promotes active transportation throughout the bay area. She has a Masters in Public Health, she is a League Certified Instructor with the American League of Bicyclists and works with a number of organizations promoting bicycle riding for transport in the Bay Area. Her passion is to share the idea that active transportation is a viable and valuable option in California.
Approach
Using the League of American Bicyclists curriculum, Cara is a certified instructor, and teaches an array of classes meeting you exactly where you are on your bicycle journey.
